The multifaceted character of neurology and medicine in general, in addition to the need for prompt, efficient, and interdisciplinary treatment of patients suffering from neurological illnesses, were the driving forces behind the founding of NeuroLife.
Our mission
Active in Athens since 2015, our group consists of highly experienced neurologists. From the initial phase of early diagnosis and appropriate and effective treatment to subsequent monitoring and individualized, multi-level support, our physicians guarantee the comprehensive and efficacious treatment of their patients through their knowledge, integrity, and consistency of information.
Our multidisciplinary team, consisting of nutritionists, psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and specialist nurses, is motivated to provide patients with neurological disorders with comprehensive and multifaceted care.
Our vision
At NeuroLife, we value making a positive impact on society above everything else. This not only brings us closer together as a group but also inspires us to work hard for the future.
In addition to providing medical services, one of our primary goals is to further educate the general public about neurology. Our objectives include fostering social cohesion among the healthy and people with diseases, raising awareness about the unique characteristics of patients with neurological disorders, mobilizing the general public to support these patients, and educating the healthy to identify the symptoms.
Vaso Zisimopoulou
Neurologist, MD, MBA

Vaso Zisimopoulou, originally from Agrinio, Greece, is a graduate of the Military School of Officer Corps and the Department of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She trained and received her specialty in Neurology at the 251 General Air Force Hospital and at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos". In 2018 she continued her training in Neuro-Intensive Care at the Neuro-Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Henry Ford Hospital in the USA as a visiting neurologist. She created in 2016 and managed the Stroke Unit of IASO General (later Metropolitan General) as the Director of the 1st Neurological Clinic. In 2019, she created and organized the Stroke Care Unit of the Athens Euroclinic and is the Head of the Neurological Department. She is an active member of the European Telestroke Committee of the European Stroke Organization. She has a special scientific interest in diseases of the Central Nervous System, such as stroke, headache and multiple sclerosis. She holds an International Master in Business Administration (iMBA) from the Athens University of Economics and Business. She maintains a private practice since 2016 in the center of Athens and founded the medical company NeuroLife in 2017.
Dimitris Kanellopoulos
Neurologist, MD
Dimitrios Kanellopoulos is a neurologist, an honors graduate of the Medical School of Turin, northern Italy. He specialized in neurology at General Hospital "Evangelismos" and trained in biomedical acupuncture at the International Post-Training Center for Acupuncture (2012-2014). Since 2018, he has been teaching at the special post-education acupuncture center of the Greek acupuncture company "AcuScience" in the training program for Doctors with the subject of neurological/neurodegenerative diseases and their treatment/prevention through acupuncture sessions. He has acquired special training in electroencephalography and electromyography from the Hellenic Neurophysiological Society. From 2015 to 2019 he worked as attending neurologist of the 1st Neurological clinic of the Metropolitan General Clinic, while since 2019 he has been working at the Athens Euroclinic as attending neurologist of the neurology clinic and Scientific Director of the Neurology department. He is actively involved in the Stroke Care Unit of the Athens Euroclinic and is in charge of the special clinic for dementia and other memory disorders. He maintains a private practice in the center of Athens, where he provides high-level services for the prevention and monitoring of the entire spectrum of neurological diseases. He is a founding member of NeuroLife since 2017.
Ioanna Chatzi

Neurologist Ioanna Chatzi was born in Athens and studied at the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She received her degree in Medicine in 2001 and after completing her mandatory rural service, she began her specialization in Neurology at General Hospital "Gennimatas''. She received her specialty title in 2011 and worked as an attending Neurologist and Scientific Associate of the Multiple Sclerosis specialist clinic of the Neurological Clinic of the General Hospital "Gennimatas'" until 2014 followed by further training in Vascular Stroke for two years in the UK. She worked for two years as an attending Neurologist of the Neurological department at the Metropolitan General Clinic. She has publications in international journals and active participation with multiple oral and posted presentations at medical conferences. Since 2019 she is an attending Neurologist and a member of the acute stroke team at the Athens Euroclinic hospital. She maintains a private practice in Kallithea and is a founding member of NeuroLife since 2017.
George Karagiorgis
Neurologist, MD, PhD
Neurologist George Karagiorgis is a Military Doctor, graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Military School of Officer Corps. He specialized in Neurology at the Neurological Clinic of the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens and at the 1st University Neurological Clinic of the Eginition Hospital. He is a Doctoral Candidate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Headache in Stroke and holds a master's degree in health unit administration. He has several scientific publications and attended numerous conferences and seminars in Greece and abroad as part of his continuous training. He is Attending Neurologist of the Neurological Clinic of the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens, and of the Neurological Clinic of Athens Euroclinic. Also he is an external associate of the Special Headache Clinic of Eginition Hospital. He is a key partner member of NeuroLife since 2021.
Fotis Tsirkas

Fotis Tsirkas was born in Nikaia Attica and studied at the Medical School of the University of Patras. He received his specialty title after training in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at General Hospital "DAFNI" and neurology at the Generall Hospital "Gennimatas". He has a special scientific interest and many years of experience in the management of acute neurological cases and in particular in the area of vascular strokes. He actively participates in world and panhellenic neurology conferences in the context of continuous medical education. He is an Attending Neurologist at the Neurological Clinic of the Athens Euroclinic and an active member of NeuroLife.
Martha Ntavou

She is a founding partner of NeuroLife since 2017.

Manolis Deligiannis
Medical Equipment Technologist

Manolis Deligiannis was born in 1969 in Athens. After completing his studies and internship as a Medical Laboratory Technologist, he worked for 10 years in biopathology laboratories, while also training as an EEG Technologist. He worked at the IASO General clinic from 2003 to 2018 as head technician of the Electrophysiology Laboratory and at the Athens Euroclinic from 2019 to the present in the Neurology Clinic and the Electroencephalography Laboratory. At the same time he maintains collaboration with private Neurologists and Neurosurgeons and has long experience with specialized records in the field of investigation and surgery of epilepsy. He is a founding member of NeuroLife since 2017.
Marios Kanellos
Marketing & Brand Manager
Marios I. Kanellos was born in Athens and grew up in Aigio, Achaias. He is a graduate of Panteion University of Political and Social Sciences in Athens where he studied Political Science and History. He then continued his studies at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and received the postgraduate title International Master in Business Administration (iMBA). Marios has extensive professional experience in various industries, including retail, leisure, wellness and online media in Greece and abroad. In addition, he is active as a private consultant in the field of marketing. Today, he holds the position of Marketing & Brand Manager at NeuroLife, where he contributes his knowledge and experience to the development and formation of the company's successful image.
